Media

We’re always looking for help with publicity and the press, with handling enquiries from the public, with this web site, and with a host of other tasks that need doing every week to keep the skate running smoothly. If you have ideas, or you have a bit of free time, or both, please get in touch by leaving a “Reply” below..

  1. Hi there,
I’m currently working on a Korean TV and would really like to come down and film your event, which is 6th of July.
Would it be possible to come and interview you and some of the participants?
Could you kindly let me know if it’s possible please?
    Many thanks.

    Best Wishes

  3. Dear LFNS,

I am an editorial assistant for Delta Sky Magazine, the in-flight publication for Delta Air Lines. I am updating the London destination guide on our website, http://www.deltaskymag.com, and would like to include Easter Skate Eggstravaganza. Can you send me a high resolution, (preferably horizontal) picture to run with the event listing? A picture from last year’s event would be preferable. Any photo credit would also be helpful.

If you can get back to me as soon as possible, I’d greatly appreciate it.

    Thanks.

  4. Hi there,

I’m currently working on a BBC1 documentary series and would really like to have a chat with you about the possibility of filming one of your Friday night skates. Please do send me an email if this is something you would be interested in.

    Best Wishes

  5. Hi there,

I am currently working on my show reel for the Media Presentation Skills module, which I am studying at Thames Valley University. I would love to get some footage of your in-line/rollerblading skating event. Would it be possible to come and interview you and some of the participants?

As far as I am aware the skate off starts every dry Fri at 8PM and Sun at 2PM, is that right?

Thank you very much for your kind response.

    Kindest regards,

    Hana

    • Hi Hanellee

Thanks for your query. You’re more than welcome to film us. We’d be particularly grateful if you were willing to upload your videos to Youtube and, if applicable, your photos to Flickr so we can add them to our site. Details here http://www.lfns.co.uk/contact/videos/ and http://www.lfns.co.uk/contact/upload-photos/

You are right on the days. You may wish to check the maps in advance of the skate to obtain a couple of good vantage points on the route within walking distance of each other. Alternatively, if you can skate, come along with us!

      Cheers, Paulie
